How Is the Row Spacing Set?
The distance between lines is planned so each worshipper has room to prostrate comfortably. The exact spacing is calculated from your hall's depth and the size of the congregation, so the last row is never cut short and the space is used well. For an accurate layout, measure the width parallel to the qibla wall and the depth, and mark the column positions.
Choosing Colours for Prayer Lines
Light lines on burgundy, green or navy grounds are the most popular choice. Darker grounds hide dirt and footfall better in busy halls.
