The A.TR Advantage for German Mosques
Turkey and the European Union have a customs union for industrial goods. With an A.TR movement certificate, which we issue with the shipment, carpet woven in Turkey enters Germany without the customs duty that applies to goods from most other manufacturing countries. Import VAT is still payable. For a German mosque this usually makes Turkish carpet cheaper delivered than comparable goods shipped from Asia.
Fire Classification for German Buildings
German building law classifies floor coverings under DIN EN 13501-1, and specifications often still use the older DIN 4102 wording, where B1 means schwer entflammbar. Which class your mosque needs depends on the building and the assembly rules that apply to it, so confirm it with your architect or Brandschutz consultant, and ask us for the test documentation for the quality you order.

Within each band the price follows weaving density, pile height and the number of colours. For a large Gemeinde carpeting a main hall, gallery and Kursraum in one order, the unit price usually improves.
Measuring and Fitting
Send the hall's width parallel to the qibla wall, the depth, and the position of columns and the mihrab niche. We set the row spacing so the last row is complete, prepare the cutting plan, and the carpet is fitted either by a local Bodenleger or, for larger projects, by arrangement with our team.
