Prices for Australian Mosques

Our ex-works ranges are $9.38–$18.75 per m² for plain and prayer-line acrylic, $15.63–$25.00 for mihrab and medallion designs, and $18.75–$34.38 for wool. Freight to Australia, GST and fitting are quoted separately. Because the sea leg is long, it is worth ordering the main hall, the women's prayer area and any madrasah rooms in one shipment.

Shipping and Timing

Carpet ships as rolls in a sea container, usually five to eight weeks in transit to the eastern ports and Fremantle. Plan the order well before Ramadan: allowing three to four months between approval and the first prayer on the new carpet leaves room for production, sailing, clearance and fitting.

Quarantine and Clearance

Australia applies strict biosecurity rules to imported goods, including checks on packaging and containers. Shipments are packed clean and dry for that reason, and your customs broker handles the Department of Agriculture requirements along with duty and GST. Ask your broker early what documentation they want from the exporter so nothing holds the container at the wharf.

Designs and Colours

Prayer-line designs are the practical choice for the main hall, mihrab designs for more decorative projects, and wall-to-wall patterns for multipurpose rooms. Deep burgundy, green and navy remain the most popular grounds. Any catalogue design can be woven in any of our standard colours, or matched to your building's interior.

Working With Australian Committees

We supply mosque committees, Islamic schools and fit-out contractors. Samples are posted before the order so the board can see pile and colour in the hall's own light, the design is approved as a drawing, and installation is usually done by a local carpet layer working from our cutting plan.
